Our 4mm VELVETEEN Strings are made of 100% high-quality cotton threads and contain no other additives such as plastic, elastane, nylon, synthetics, polyester, or acrylic.

They are ethically produced and proudly carry the Standard 100 label by OEKO-TEX® which is one of the highest qualities standards and shows that they are independently certified as safe and dyed without harmful chemicals.

Our 4mm VELVETEEN Strings are dermatologically safe, smooth, durable, and easy to work with. This amazing string is shiny with a lovely soft feeling like velvet.

Velveteen was first mentioned in 14th century Europe, where it was used for vestments, royal and state robes, and even hanging ornamentations! We are sure you’ll love the quality and feel of this 100% cotton string.

It is perfect for your rainbow pieces or as an addition to your various macrame projects.
